I bought the cutest little newborn socks a couple of weeks ago and decided to use them for sock-pups Millie and Molly. Millie, who is now finished is the same pattern as my last sock pup although about a quarter of the size. Those little socks get stitched very quickly but, let me tell you, there’s not much room for error! For Molly I’m trying a slightly different pattern approach so I can compare the shape of two pups made from exactly the same socks. At the moment Molly is looking a little tubby… and not really in a cute way. So tonight’s task is to de-stuff her slightly to see if this makes a difference to the shape.
Update: I couldn’t bear to to pull poor old Molly apart so I left her a little tubby in the end.
